It was truly a remarkable achievment. From the space station, the forces of the black hole Arcis were not only restained; they were tamed, domesticated, used as a power source. Until one day, the systems were thrown into confusion by an unexpected event.
The black hole started to die.
With only hours to spare before catastophic system failure drags the station into Arcis, the Doctor, Wil, Jadi and Angela arrive - and quickly discover that the chaotic natural forces of the universe may be the least of their worries. Can the Doctor possibly avert disaster, or will one madman's dream prove to be the death of thousands?
